That’s why they call them crushes. If it were easy, they’d call them something else.
Do you know that feeling you get when you find out your crush likes someone else? And then you try to find this girl and when you do you immediately notice all the bad things about her? Her forehead’s too high. She’s too tall for him. She’s not that pretty. She’s too nice. Her hips are too wide. And then you started to wonder what he liked about her in the first place.
Bashing your crush’s crush/girlfriend shows all the insecurities you’re trying to hide. You thought that by bringing her down, you push yourself up when in reality, you’re just drowning yourself in your insecurities.
Maybe he liked someone else, but honey, that’s not the end of the world. There’s a lot of smarter, nicer, sweeter, cuter, more handsome guys out there! Or maybe he’s just standing in front of you and you don’t notice him because you’re too busy judging a person you haven’t even met.
Don’t get me wrong. It’s okay to have crushes! It’s good for you actually! Just make sure that you won’t emit negative vibes when you see the guy of your dreams look into the eyes of the girl who makes his heart skip a beat.
Happy crushing! 🙂
